So you have a BigCommerce store, and you're looking to setup a referral program.
How do you do that?
Part A: Sign up for ReferralCandy
Head over to the sign up pageto register for a new ReferralCandy account.
Click the blue "Install Bigcommerce App!" button to authorize the ReferralCandy app to access to your Bigcommerce store.
Complete the rest of the setup wizard. At the integration step, note the tracking code. You will need it to complete the integration in the next part.
Part B: Insert our tracking code
Log into your Bigcommerce Control Panel.
In the left sidebar menu, click "Advanced Settings".
Click "Affiliate Conversion Tracking" in the navigation menu that appears.
In the Conversion Tracking Code panel, copy and paste the ReferralCandy tracking code from Step 3 into the input box.
Click the "Save" button on the bottom right of the page to save the changes.
A pop-up alert window will appear that says 'Your Conversion Tracking Code Is Invalid'. You can ignore this warning. Click the 'OK' button to save the changes, and you're done!
And with that, you’ve hooked up ReferralCandy to your BigCommerce store! 🎉
From here on, there’s still more that you’ll want to do. Beyond this, you’ll want to actually set the referral conditions, the rewards themselves, the Emails & Pages, and referral widgets on your store itself.
You’ll also want to promote your referral program through your various marketing channels, so that you get more reach.

A referral program is a deliberate, systematic way of getting people to make referrals to your business. Referral programs are often called word-of-mouth marketing, because they reward existing customers for sharing and incentivize new customers to try out your brand.
